Mockup & Brand-Use Consent

1. What a mockup is
automationly (Phoenix, Arizona) creates free website design mockups for local businesses we believe deserve a better web presence. A mockup is a demonstration homepage — a preview of what we could build for the business — hosted on a private preview link that we share with the business, typically via a hand-delivered card with a QR code. It is created before we speak with the business, at no cost and with no obligation of any kind.
2. What we use to build it
We build mockups only from information that is already public:
- the business's name and the category of services it offers;
- publicly listed details such as general location, hours, and service descriptions;
- stock photography or original imagery we create or license ourselves; and
- original design, layout, and text written by us.
3. What we do not use
Without the business's permission, we do not use:
- copyrighted photographs taken from the business's website or social media;
- proprietary brand assets such as logo files, brand guidelines, or custom graphics;
- customer photos, testimonials, or reviews presented as endorsements of us; or
- any non-public or confidential information.
A mockup may render the business's name in type as part of the demonstration design. This is a design placeholder, not a reproduction of the business's logo.
4. A demonstration, not an affiliation
A mockup is our design demonstration. It is not a statement that the business has endorsed, purchased, or partnered with automationly, and we do not present it publicly as the business's actual website. Preview pages are intended for the business owner and are clearly framed as a proposal to claim, not an existing customer relationship.
5. No obligation
Viewing a mockup costs nothing and commits the business to nothing. Claiming a mockup — submitting the claim form — is also free and non-binding: it is a request to talk, not a purchase. Paid service begins only if the business chooses a plan under our Subscription Agreement.
6. Takedown, any time, no questions
If a business prefers not to have a mockup exist, we will take it down. Email nathan@automationly.ai with the business name (or use our contact page), and we will remove the preview page promptly — typically within 2 business days — and confirm when it is done. We will also refrain from building future mockups for that business on request.
7. Claiming means we may contact you
When you claim a mockup, you give us contact information so we can follow up. By submitting the claim form, you consent to automationly contacting you about your mockup and our services by phone, email, and — if you provide a mobile number — text message, as described in our SMS Consent & Disclosures. You can withdraw this consent at any time (reply STOP to texts, or tell us on any call or email).
8. Intellectual property in the mockup
Until a mockup is claimed and a plan begins, the design, layout, and text we created remain our property. The business's name and any factual business details remain the business's. If the business subscribes, the mockup becomes the starting point for their website under the terms of the Subscription Agreement. If it does not, we may reuse our own design elements (never the business's identity) elsewhere.
9. Accuracy
Mockups are drafts built from public information, so details like hours, services, or pricing may be incomplete or out of date. Nothing in a mockup is a representation by the business, and we correct any detail the business flags — before or after claiming.
