Domain / DNS Letter of Authorization

About this document

To put your website live on your own domain, we need permission to make DNS changes on your behalf. This Letter of Authorization ("LOA") is the template we use to record that permission. We complete it with you during onboarding — you never have to touch a registrar dashboard yourself.

Three things worth knowing before you sign:

  • Your domain stays yours. This letter grants management access, not ownership. It does not transfer the domain to automationly.
  • Your email keeps working. We are explicitly required to preserve your existing MX and related email records.
  • You can revoke it any time with written notice.

Letter of Authorization — Domain & DNS Management

I,  Authorized signer — full name, am the owner or an authorized representative of  Legal business name (the "Business").

The Business authorizes automationly (Phoenix, Arizona) to act on its behalf with respect to the following domain name(s):

 Domain name(s), e.g. yourbusiness.com

Scope of authorization:

  1. Access and manage DNS settings for the domain(s), including creating and updating A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, and related records needed to host and secure the Business's website.
  2. Communicate with the domain registrar and DNS provider on the Business's behalf, including managing nameserver settings where required.
  3. Configure domain-verification and certificate records (for example, TLS/SSL verification records).
  4. Preserve all existing MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and other email-related records so the Business's email service continues without interruption. automationly will not modify email routing except at the Business's written request.

Limits and revocation:

  1. This authorization does not transfer ownership of the domain(s) to automationly.
  2. automationly will not sell, transfer, or let the domain(s) lapse, and will not make changes outside the scope above without the Business's written approval.
  3. The Business may revoke this authorization at any time by written notice (email to nathan@automationly.ai is sufficient). On revocation or cancellation of service, automationly will return DNS control and provide current DNS records on request.
